don't know what you need , sam couldn't take it anymore. he was married god dammit. and if his parents found out he wasn't living with her, or had even been dating her. his life would just be in ruins probably. he was very close with his family, but this was something he couldn't tell them. having his parents disappointed in him was not something he felt he could take on at the moment. especially with the wife pushing for a divorce. not that he would ever take that offer from her. he paced around his house, a nice house that his parents helped pay for, but he paid for most of it with his money from photography. it was a decent house, and he hoped that when he did get married since he wasn't expecting to get married so soon he could live in this house with his wife and they could have a family together. however, the current wife is somewhat in denial about their marriage. it is perfectly legal, and as much as she doesn't like it, samuel doesn't believe in divorce. he will have to be married to her for as long as it took. which wasn't too bad, since he could learn to love the brown-hair, brown-eyed girl, but putting up with her constant fight against him was going to be a hassle.
he picked up his phone and called brooke. he didn't give her any time to speak at all. when she picked up, he said, "okay, you need to get over here now. we have a lot to talk about," he said, and before she could even get another word in, he said, "i'll see you soon. bye." he hung up the phone and flung it on his bed. walking out into his living room, he looked around. he started to clean up a bit, suddenly self-conscious of his house. brooke had been there before, since they were friends and all, but it was different since they went to vegas. they had to learn to love each other and to know that they had to be together forever. it wasn't exactly samuel's idea of a perfect marriage, but he was willing to make it work, especially because of his belief system. he started picking up the place, boxer shorts all over the place in his room, his living area filled with different plates and everything. it was going to be more than a few minute clean up to make everything look good, but he was willing to do it for hte sake that brooke was coming over.
it wasn't very long before samuel was tired of cleaning and he just sat on his couch waiting for brooke to come over. he needed to talk to her, it had to happen at some point. they couldn't waltz around through beverly hills with her possibly being unfaithful, and no one knowing that they were married. if he was going to be married, he was going to show off his wife the way she deserved to be shown off. because even though sam and brooke didn't have a love before they were married, she was still absolutely stunning and someone that sam got along with. it was hard to say that he couldn't grow to love her, because he knew he could. as a friend, he already did love her, but they needed the next step if they were going to make it work, and they needed to play the part. he thought of different ways to say these things to brooke in his head. all of them coming with her either yelling at him or getting utterly upset and leaving. he didn't know how he was going to do it but it had to be done. through his thoughts he heard the doorbell ring and he got up to go answer it.

She knew that her parents didn’t really approve of her job. To them she didn’t really seem to do much, but people liked her photography, her art...she had a website displaying it so people could order prints, or book her for a job that they wanted her to take pictures for. She may not earn a lot of money, well what her parents wanted her to earn, but she managed with the amount and she also had friends that regularly booked her for stuff, she was lucky in that respect. She watched Sophia as she carried on her job. Loading pictures on her website was a hard task, especially when she had a two year old bouncing around the place that she had to watch every second. See when she didn’t have booked jobs, Brooke looked after her niece, Sophia. She didn’t really get paid for it. Maybe sometimes, and her brother always paid for things whenever she took the two of them out, so it wasn’t so bad. She went out with her a lot because the little girl was at the age where she needed to be doing things.
When her phone rang at the side of her, she heard Sophia shout phooonneeee! Brooke laughed and looked at the caller ID. great she muttered. Usually she would have muttered other words when she wasn’t pleased with something, but because of Sophia, she went against that, she never swore infront of the little girl, she knew her brother would murder her for one. Brooke was so different around Sophia. It was hard to believe that the girl around the little girl was the girl that had thought it had been a great idea to get married while drunk in Vegas and who liked to party....a lot. she was so responsible and it usually never showed, at all. She picked up the phone to speak, but before she could get chance to protest, or anything....he had hung up. Great, now she actually had to get out of her pyjamas, being freelance meant that she didn’t have to get out of them if she didn’t want to, and today both her and Sophia were having a very lazy day in which they did not get out of them.
Even though they weren’t even dating, and he had now seen her first thing in the morning with last nights make up smeared over her eyes, Brooke felt the need to make herself look nice. She was the type of girl who could go to the local shop to get some milk quickly with no make up, but when it came to seeing people she knew, or going out somewhere and being more than five minutes, she had to look nice. During the day, simple mascara, foundation, lip balm and a soft eyeshadow was fine, and during the night she usually wore the lot; eyeliner, eyeshadow, foundation, eyeshadow and a lipgloss or lipstick, that was just the way she was. Looks like we’re gonna have to get dressed now sweetie pie she got up from her computer and picked Sophia up, giving her a kiss on the cheek. She went into Sophia’s room first and got her dressed. Then put Sophia infront of the tv watching her favourite cartoons while she had a shower and got herself dressed. He had said ‘see you soon’ but did he honestly know how long it took for her to get ready? He really shouldn’t complain, she was just a typical girl. There was no way that she could get ready in half an hour like some girls did. She took at least an hour, and longer when she washed her hair, which was why she didn’t bother doing it this time and used-to her horror....a shower cap shh. She was finally ready and got out of the apartment, making sure that everything was switched off and then locked the door behind her. She went to her car, opened the door and strapped Sophia in first before anything else. where we going Bookie? Sophia asked her. We are going to see one of Auntie Bookie’s friends she told her looking in the wing mirror as she reversed. Uncle Sammy she smiled at her.
When she got there she took Sophia out of her seat and carried her up to the house. She had to admit it was a damn nice house. She knew he was well off, and come on, they were in Beverly Hills, most people were, he was lucky. She rang the doorbell and smiled slightly when he answered. I don’t want to hear you complaining, I am looking after my niece like I always do, if you didn’t want her here you should have thought about that she rolled her eyes at him. Now darling husband she said and put Sophia down What is it you wanted to speak to me about?

Sam couldn't believe how long it was taking Brooke to come over. He honestly didn't think it needed to take her an hour to come over and talk to him about some important issues. Like the fact that they were married and needed to either work together on it, or the alternative, work together on it. He loved her like a good friend could, but he didn't know if he could deal with her attitude for the rest of his life. It was hard enough dealing with it when she wasn't even living with him, never mind the fact that he was going to make a proposal on them at least living together, for his sanity's sake. He knew she was going to say no, but he would push her until she said yes, because he needed it. He couldn't even think about the fact that he was married when he wasn't even living with his wife. He paced his house, waiting for Brooke to come over, when finally he heard her at the door.
She had a kid with her. And she said if he wasn't okay with it then be shouldn't have called her over. He was okay with it though. Samuel loved kids. The way they were so free spirited and did what they wanted without anyone knowing. It was something that he would like to have one day, if Brookella was up for it. Though he wouldn't dare ask her now, seeing as she still wasn't even okay with the marriage. But the thoughts of being married still burned in the back of his mind. Children, living together, sleeping together, being happy together. Brooke wasn't happy and he knew it. He wanted to fix it because he didn't like that someone he had to call his wife wasn't happy with their situation. It killed him inside, but he'd never show it. He smiled at Brooke and the little girl, happy to have them both in his house. And hopefully he could convince his darling wife to maybe stay longer. That way he could tell his parents. That was an ultimate goal for their relationship, to tell his parents so that they could be happy for him. Obviously not about the marriage. That wouldn't be revealed ever. The second ceremony he had for Brooke would be the only ceremony his parents knew about. But he could tell them she was his girlfriend right?
"Brooke, I love kids," he said, the smile spreading across his whole face. He looked at the little girl and smiled at her. He wanted to talk to her, but he was afraid that Brooke would go into defensive aunt mode and she would shut him out. But he did anyway. "My home is open to you. You can play with anything you want," he said still smiling. He hoped that the little girl would run away and maybe color on the walls if it meant he could talk to Brooke about their situation. And he knew that the child wasn't stupid. But he just felt weird talking to Brooke about living together if there was a child listening to every word he said. He'd have to watch his language with the girl in the house though, something he was never really good at. He tried though. He looked at Brooke expectantly. "You going to come in?" he asked, shoving his hands in his pockets.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: f9f9f9; border: #d96a70 solid 10px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;]cos baby you're a firework He probably would be mad that she had taken so long, but she hoped at least that he wouldn’t be annoyed that she had brought Sophia with her. she sighed, Sophia might be nearest to a son or daughter she would have now, unless things changed dramatically and she fell in love with him, like some kind of crappy fairy tale, or he gave her what she wanted. She was used to getting what she wanted, at least from other people, maybe not her parents, but that was because she knew they wouldn’t give into her, and she knew how to get what she wanted from other people, she could be quite manipulative really, not in the mean sense, but just in general, and especially with guys, it seemed she could make them do anything she wanted and had so much control over them. She certainly liked that fact. But Sam was another story, he wasn’t buying into her manipulation and the fact she was fighting for a divorce, maybe it was time for her to just give in, but she didn’t really give in that easily, unless it was something she really wanted, but it just seemed to be so much of a challenge to keep fighting for a divorce. She wondered what he wanted now; she really didn’t want this whole thing to ruin their friendship, but the sad thing was that it probably already was doing and it made her sad, she didn’t know what else she could do to stop that other than to give in to what he wanted. She would never usually go for that but this time it seemed like the only option and if it would save their friendship, their relationship, maybe the best thing was to do was to go along with what he wanted.
She saw the smile on his face when he told her that he loved kids and smiled back she’ll be no trouble she said to him calmly. She was going to be as nice as she could, but she really could not help that she was firery, blunt and that she said whatever she felt. She wasn’t the type to keep her options to herself, it was the way she was. Personally Brooke would rather tell someone she didn’t like them than be a bitch and talk about them behind their back, wasn’t it better to be that way? It seemed like everyone spoke about people behind their back and she tried really hard not to, unless that person knew that she hated them. That was the rule she had and it had worked for her so far, so she didn’t have any reason to change that if she was honest. They did things differently, they were soooo different but they had managed to be friends. Maybe Sam was right somehow, maybe they could make it work.....no what was she thinking? It was all so fast and so weird, it wasn’t what she wanted. Certainly not what she had planned and she knew it was her mess. Now it seemed she only had one chance to be in love, things were kind of making her crazy, she hadn’t actually been with anyone else since Vegas, and that for her was a long time. it was weird to think that she had actually managed that. She hadn’t really expected it at all but that wasn’t the point, the point was that she had resisted when she had been out. It had been damh hard and yes she had flirted, maybe kissed but she hadn’t gone further than that, she wasn’t even sure of the boundaries since they hadn’t really talked about them, but surely sex was out of the question, well she had taken it that it was anyway.
He laughed at his comment about being able to play with anything she’s two sam, say that to a two year old and they will literally go find anything, do anything she said and walked into the house when he asked if she would come in. Then she led Sophia in and kissed her forehead you can go explore okay sweetie? Be good though she smiled at her and watched the little girl go off fairly happy to look around the place and then looked at Sam So, what did you want to talk about? she asked him.
