Tommy led a pretty normal, small town life, dreaming of getting away to the big city. He was the star of his school's baseball team, and got into UCLA on a generous scholarship to play. However, he wants to be a poet, not a ball player (get your minds out of the gutter, you know that's not what I meant). He's only just coming out of the closet now that he's away from home, and is kinda intimidated. Still he puts on his usual swagger everyday, and walks around town like he owns it.

Tommy is super outgoing, and even being new in town, he's bound to make a lot of friends quickly. In the social battlefield that is LA, loyalty like his is hard to come by. At the same time, if he learns that someone has been abusing his trust, they will never get it back.

Though he's not looking to run back home to Iowa and get married (yes, gay marriage is legal there), Tommy wouldn't mind having a boyfriend. That's not to say that he won't have a brief fling or a one night stand, if the opportunity presents itself, but even though he acts like a typically horny twenty year-old, deep down, Tommy is a total sweetheart.

Tommy's not bound to have a whole lot of enemies. He's a nice guy, and he doesn't go out of his way to make trouble. And it's not like he's gonna go sleeping with anyone's girlfriend. I'd like for there to be someone else on the baseball team, a small town boy like him, who doesn't like sharing a lockerroom with a queer. If there was sort of a hatred/rivalry between them, that could be cool. And heck, if that team mate were struggling with his own sexuality, that could lead to all sorts of fun. confused hate sex for the win!

clicky! aren’t they cute? Okay so tommy is just precious and evie will love him. They’re both freshman so i assume they could have met in college and clicked right away. Evie’s like the mom of her group of friends, she still goes out and has fun but she’s responsible, caring and really nurturing. She’s also studious so she’d love that tommy has bigger dreams that just playing ball and would enjoy having someone around who’s on her intellectual level. I’m think best friends? She needs a guy bestfriend and he’s just too cute to pass up. She’d encourage him to be comfortable with who he is because sometimes she struggles with her own identity too. I’m rambling but yes, let me know what you think.

so brooke is evies older sister, and she loves her, and since he would be besties with her, she may come to know him at some point (she lives with her brother as of now) I am not sure tommy would like her that much, since she is kinda crazy outgoing and just flirts with anyone. she got drunk and married in vegas, and evie is kinda like 'ahhhh' with her right now, so yeah...she wouldn't go out of her way to be enemies with him, but I don't think I see him getting along. she is very opinionated as well especially when she is drunk. add/subtract/delete

I don't think that she'd be as near and dear to Tommy's heart as Evie is set to become, but this boy knows how to have a good time, and could certainly use a drinking buddy. Seeing as she's picked up the open thread, I don't see any trouble explaining how they know each other. Personally, I'd kinda enjoy doing the classic thread where Charlotte is getting really into Tommy, and he gets to be all "sorry, but that's not gonna happen. but if you have that guy's phone number," -points to other hot guy on the beach- "I'll take it."

tommy && maya

I can't stress enough how much Tommy hates trickery and disloyalty, so if Maya tries any of that crap with him, or if he sees her doing anything like that to anyone else, he'll have nothing more to do with her. Short of that, I don't see any reason why they couldn't be friends.

tommy && brooke

I kinda see Tommy, being Evie's GBF (Gay Boyfriend), as the one who gets to listen to Evie vent all of her frustrations about Brooke. In light of that, I think that these two are acquaintances, and they're generally cool with each other, but certainly not friends.

BOYS!

Tommy is a guy's guy (in more ways than one), and even though he certainly can be friends with girls, he's not the typical gay guy who's surrounded by a whole flock of women. He needs boyfriends, both romantic sort and just the dudes that he hangs out with, especially other guys on the baseball team. I think that it'd also be cool for him to meet another gay guy, who he's not attracted too, but who kinda shows him the ropes. Lets get that testosterone flowing, folks! My rant is now complete.

SHANE&&TOMMY
So Shane here is my excitable, goofy and super sweet musician. He tries his best not to get sucked into the big celebrity scene, despite his band being recognized as popular. He does his best to live and act like he would have if he hadn’t picked music over a college degree. But that doesn’t mean he won’t use it to his advantage if he wants to, for things like getting into bars or clubs, or getting tickets through his agent or something to make it easier. He’s twenty-three, single and most definitely straight. However, his best friend [who I will probably make a want ad for later], is the only one he’ll act gay around, but that’s just because they’ve known each other forever. Still, he loves to party, loves to have fun, and loves meeting new people and learning about them and making friends. If you piss him off though, he’s definitely the type to either take a swing or shout profanities until you go away. Thoughts/ideas?
