appearance max is a developing boy who has not stopping growing yet. he is tall, with a broad build and a toned body. he manages to stay in shape by being active and athletic (despite his healthy appetite) and due to the amount of time spent outside and/or shirtless, he is bronzed. max has dark brown hair that gets curly and wavy as it gets longer, and he has a thick pair of eyebrows. he has a strong jaw line, a pointy nose (that is bumpy near the bridge because he broke it last year) and a very nice smile. his teeth nice because he wore braces.
personality max isn't a moron. some people may consider him to be too much of a joker because he's generally very goofy. he doesn't take a lot of things seriously right now, he's in too much of a selfish and teenage state of mind. he's a seventeen year old boy... all he wants to do is hang out with his friends, having good times and chasing girls. max isn't quite the class clown just yet, though. he is too hotheaded and sometimes has trouble dealing with his aggression. but he's trying to manage it, he doesn't like getting into fights. he won't end up in prison like his father. max can get really irritable and may sometimes blow up at people who don't deserve it. if he does this, he will always feel regretful and be deeply apologetic. you'll know when he needs some alone time: he gets grumpy and growly. but when max is in a good mood (which is 90% of the time), then it's fun times all around. he doesn't like being kept inside and inactive. he likes being out and about, he likes being with good company and he likes to be entertained. when he gets bored, he becomes more aware of his mind. max can be over-thoughtful, but he won't open up about the things on his mind. he's a complex person to get to know because he is distant and reserved. he uses humour to mask his emotions or thoughts. so people might think max is too much of a goofball. but he acts that way because he's rather make jokes than think of things in too serious a manner. one of the few emotions he can't hide behind a joke is anger. the other is sadness. when he is sad, he gets sad. but he won't cry in front of you. the last thing his dad said to him on the day that he went into prison was not to cry because he had to be strong for his mother and sisters, and to never let people walk all over him. so max never shows people when he's vulnerable.
