And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
charlotte took one last drag of her cigarette, before dropping it on to the ground and stomping on it with her heel. she took a couple of steps so that she was on the corner on the street, making sure no cars were coming her way. when she was sure it was safe, she crossed the street and continued walking. you could hear the loud click-clack sounds coming from her shoes which were comforting among the rare beverly hills silence. it was seven in the morning and charlotte was already awake. at least that's what anyone who would have seen her might have though. what they didn't know was that the young girl had failed to get home last time. she had woken up in someone's bathtub, her face covered in god-knows-what, and people all around her. she had been able to wash her face, thank god the water was clean, and after putting her hair up and fixing her hair, she had begun the long walk home.
charlie had gone to a party last night with some of her friends. since it was a school night, tori didn't go with them. she knew that they partied hard and wouldn't get home till late. what neither of the girls knew was just how late. charlotte yawned, she guessed she had only gotten about an hour of sleep. the only reason she woke up was because she had ended up hitting her head with the faucet when she was getting herself comfortable. she would have taken her car but she couldn't remember where she parked it or if she even brought it. charlotte would find out when she got home that she had actually taken a taxi because she had no gas. right now, everything was just such blur. she had a headache and her stomach was killing her. so she was pleased when she passed a diner. charlotte looked inside to make sure it was open, then stepped inside. she stood out among the people inside.
she took a seat in one of the chairs that were near the counter. her first instinct was to move from side to side, a warm smile making its way on to her face. places like this reminded her of when she was younger. she never really had a horrible childhood but the older she got, the more insecure she got in her own family. which was why she felt the need to stand out, just like she stood out in the diner. one of the waiters came to her and asked what she wanted."some coffee and mum….an bacon and cheese omelet as well as a small stack of pancakes…and make it quick, please" she said. charlotte was basically staring at the waiter the whole time, impatient because her headache was just getting worse. she didn't notice when someone sat next to her.
OPEN FOR ANYONE. WEARING THIS. THERE 482 WORDS. HOPE ITS GOOD!
