SHE COULD BE A JOAN OF ARC
Peyton was not one for school work, she did it but at times she really wasn't in the mood like today. Her parents had this thing about her grades and what they expected of her, her older brother was a doctor and her younger sister wanted to be a lawyer. So the bar was set super high for Peyton and she hated ait, she just wanted to get good grades just to shut them up, so she was putting in the extra effort to study and try to get her grades up for the one class she wasn't doing great in. Peyton had finished up classes a little while ago and went to her doorm to do homework, she was happy to have time to herself since her roomate wasn't home. Around three she got changed and grabbed her books and bag and headed to the library.
Once there she saw a whole bunch of students, she smirked and went to find her usual secret hiding spot all the way in the back of the library, of course the librarian wouldn't close up with out checking there. She took a seat on the big comfy chair and got started with her studying, she heard loud voices near by and told them to leave and go fight somewhere else.
Hours passed and next thing she knew it was six, the librarian cam eup with a sandwich and a drink for her and then walked away leaving her to study. Peyton knew the librarian since she had been coming here for quite a while, they had talked a lot in the past. So once she was finished eating she walked to use the ladies room and then on her way back she bu,mped in to some one. "Oh I am sorry I must not have been looking where I was going." She nodded and walked passed the man and headed back to her seat once there she realized that her plate and glass were cleared up she smiled to herself.
Peyton went to grabbed the pen she was using out of her hair which had been up in a pony tail , noticing it wasn't there she turned around and went back over to where she had just been and found it on the floor picking it up she turned back around and bumped in to some one else."I am sorry this just isn't my day, i seem to be having bad luck with bumping in to people. I am sorry."

cause i'm on top of the world. He finally had some time to get some of his actual work done. Cain had been able to go a few days without seeing Izzy for another movie night. He had a crap load of papers to read through and make notes on, they had to be intelligent and very teacherly notes too, not something a that a common fourth grader could write down. In depth, analyzing paragraphs about why this fact of an essay worked and that fact didn't. In the past few nights, Cain had never read so many words in his life. Don't even get him started on which students handwriting he could even read and which ones he couldn't. But now that that was all done an returned to the Literature professor, his new mission was to read something that actually had a plot and characters instead of opinion and horrible spelling. That's why the library seemed so inviting at the moment, it was a place to clear his head.
Sticking his hands in his pockets, the teaching assistant ambled into the large stocked library, green eyes flying and around to the spread out shelves before he walked up the the main desk in the middle. He smiled at the librarian and she smiled back. He was a regular once the terms started, she had quickly learned that Cain's escape was the confines of a good book. "Have any good books to suggest today? I'm dying for something other then student papers to stick my nose in." He had that smooth way for being friendly with a hint of humor, seemed to round out his charm. As she gave him a few titles he nodded and headed off to find out which ones he might be interested in.
Thousands of shelves littered the grand library hall, a few out coves of chairs and tables too, some with students and some without. Studying most likely, or at least he hoped. Cain was still kind of fresh out of college himself and he knew of the ins and out of campus life, making one thing look like something and then really be doing the other. Sure he was a teacher, of sorts, in the university but he wasn't as strict as some of the professors in the system, though if things went too far he would step in. Either way, he didn't want to seem nosy and ask what exactly they were doing, so he kept looking for his books.
He wasn't so big on libraries where he had the whole system stuck in his head, he was that much of a novel geek, so to say he couldn't find what he was looking for was true. His green eyes were always on the spines of the books on the shelves, eye brows furrowed because he was starting to get annoyed that he could find it. Then he hit something, or something hit him, he wasn't sure. Hearing a soft voice speak up Cain turned his head and smiled apologetically, "Oh please, that was my fault, I had my head up and my feet moving a mile a minute.", he kept his voice even and calm, he didn't want her to think that he was upset or angry, "You are alright though, yeah? No head trauma right?" Sure he was joking, but it was good way to get out of the 'no its my fault' 'no it was really my fault' part of hitting someone. Those conversations could go on for hours, so he liked to play it off with humor and a smile. Giving the blonde a quick glance over, an idea popped into his head, "Hey, you look like a smart gal," he pressed for a charming grin, "do you happen to know where the Jules Verne section is in this labyrinth of a library?"
