hold me and feel my heart beat molly gave her mother her infamous pouty face, hoping that it would convince her to let her go out with anthony tonight. usually, her mother let her go without any ifs, ands,or buts. but molly picked the worse day ever to have a date night with anthony, it was report card day. she wasn't by any means stupid, she was as bright as any girl her age could be. but she had a short attention span and found herself getting lost in her thoughts every time her teachers began to talk. she had promised her mom her grades would improve and they actually had, but they were not the grades her mother wanted. molly begged and pleaded, she was not used to having her parents say no. after a couple of minutes, her mother finally broke down, reminding molly that if it were to ever happen again, she would be set up with a tutor. molly held in a squeal, and nodded. she knew her mother's threats were empty. she rushed up to her room, not a simple task considering she was in socks and kept slipping. when she made it to her room, she jumped on to the bed and grabbed her cell phone, which had been charging so that she would have enough battery life for tonight. she sent anthony a quick text message telling him that she just needed an hour to get ready, then ran to her closet. molly's closet could actually be considered to be a small store. it had clothes on two of the walls and shoes on a third.
the last one was left for her three way mirror, which she could see herself in perfectly when she stood in the platform that was in the middle. but she had no time for that, she need to pick out the perfect outfit, and now. anthony had said they would just be going bowling but molly still had to look perfect for her boyfriend. so it took her twenty minutes just to choose the right outfit. after she was done with that, she hopped in the shower and took the shortest shower she had ever taken. a good twenty minutes later, she was out and getting ready. the first thing she did was get her hair ready, an easy tasks considering when it dried it gave her the curl effect that she liked. next, came her clothes. that didn't take long either. just when she thought she had finished early, she realized that she had forgotten her shoes. and at that exact moment, the sound of her mother opening the door and the yells that anthony was here, made her rush into the closet once more and pick a simple pair of boots. they were going bowling after all, so she made sure to wear her thick socks. she had this thing about wearing other people's shoes, at least strangers shoes. molly took a second to breath in deeply before exiting the room and walking down the stairs as gracefully as possible.

hold me and feel my heart beat sometimes molly wanted to go out to a restaurant just so that she could wear one of her fancy dresses, but not only did that sound painfully boring, she wasn't sure she could ask that of him. she had never actually asked him how much money he had to spend on her, and while she was blunt about most things, she knew when to keep her mouth shut. molly has offered to pay before but like always, anthony let her do no such thing. that's probably why molly had fallen for him. he made her smile and was a gentleman. perfect for her in every way. the only downside was that they were separated most days. she had no problem avoiding homework, if anything she found excuses not to do it, but anthony was different. in fact, they were different in a lot of ways. she might have been perfect for her, but that didn't mean that they were exactly alike. not only in their personalities but their entire lives. she had never expected to be dating a beverly high kid, even if she didn't care about money and all that. she just never expected it. and here she was, getting all giddy because she was about to go on a date with him. funny how things work out. anyways, she walked down the stairs, brushing her hair back from her face. she hoped she looked like the girls from the movies or even better than that. she had always wanted to have that scene where the guy looked at you as if you were the only girl around. technically, she was the only girl around if you didn't include her mother, but it was all the same to her.
she couldn't keep her smile in check as she walked down the stairs, just the thought of anthony being down there, staring at her made her smile grow even wider. she really hoped she didn't look like a clown. then again, she had a naturally pretty smile and she wasn't afraid to admit it to herself. she finally made it down the stairs, and the first thing she did was practically jump into anthony's arms. this just felt....right. like she belonged with the boy. it was corny, and she knew it but when she was around him, she couldn't help it. "i missed you" she said when she finally pulled away. she wanted to kiss him but it was a little awkward considering her mother was there. almost like she knew what molly was thinking, her mother said goodbye and let the two teenagers on their own. their mother trusted them to be together, and trusted them to be responsible when they were together. "you look adorable" she said, finally giving him a kiss on the lips. she kept it pg, knowing that when she kissed him, she wanted to do it in front of everyone so they could see that this amazing boy was hers. "shall we do?" molly asked, already taking the steps out the door.
